2026-02-15 DUDE I just LOVE the glow of a freshly captured PRO-SHOT, it’s so CINEMATIC and makes me feel like I’m front row without paying a single cent. You should totally come down to my editing cave, it’s got STACKS of unlabeled Blu-rays and a capture card dangling off the side of my PC like a life-support machine. We can crack open a nice hoppy IPA or three and get absolutely unhinged syncing three different camera angles in Premiere at 2AM!!! And dude, dude, DUDE, we have GOTTA watch this new MULTI-CAM EDIT—listen here, right, it’s a JAPANESE BROADCAST rip with crisp close-ups. BUT!!!! it’s also got an AUDIENCE CAM in the corner for “authenticity,” so you can see that one security guard slowly losing his mind. It’s like when we were kids trading VHS tapes, except now we argue about BITRATES and whether 1080i upscale to 4K is “disrespectful to the source.” Speaking of which, Megan and I have finally decided to commit—literally—we’re both upgrading to 20TB NAS drives tomorrow so we can store MORE FULL CONCERT MKVs with custom menus and chapter markers for every guitar solo. I’m fuckin JACKED man, I’m gonna SLAM this craft beer, re-encode this to HEVC, and trade DVDs ALL NIGHT for the culture!!! |
